Want to combine a beach retreat with a cultural city break for your hen weekend? Head to Palma, Majorca’s vibrant capital which is only around 2 and a half hours flight time from the UK. Picturesque Palma is where old meets new; by day you could be exploring historical sights, shopping in trendy boutiques and enjoying traditional tapas, by night you could be sipping cocktails at a rooftop bar or dancing the night away at one of Palma’s many nightclubs.

Palma Nightlife

Whatever your scene, Palma has something for everyone after the sun sets, from cozy pubs and trendy bars to live music and swanky nightclubs.

  • Paseo Maritimo: This long stretch runs along the seafront promenade and is where you will find a variety of buzzing bars and clubs including Pacha, Hard Rock Café and Three Lions.
  • Santa Catalina: This neighbourhood in the old fisherman’s quarter is where you will find a cluster of restaurants, cocktail bars and intimate pubs. For scenic views, head to Sky Bar, a rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the sea and the city.
  • La Lonja: Head to the narrows, winding streets of the Old Town of Palma (La Lonja district) for an evening of tapas, wine and cocktails. This picturesque part of the city, oozing with history and local culture, comes alive at night with its offering of restaurants and bars.
