One of the most popular hen party destinations, Benidorm, is renowned for its cheap and cheerful reputation, lively nightlife and being a home from home for Brits. You won’t need to look far for your home comforts here with plenty of British style pubs and full English breakfasts (with a pint, of course!) If it wasn’t for the sunshine and the golden Levante Beach, you’d never know you were in Spain! This fun-loving resort has two main areas: the New Town, otherwise known as the Levante area, and the Old Town. Benidorm is often referred to as “Little Manhattan” due to the sheer number of skyscrapers in the New Town and is the lively area of Benidorm. On the other hand, the quaint Old Town has a more laid-back atmosphere with a mix of restaurants, bars and shops. There really is something to suit all tastes and age ranges which is what makes Benidorm so popular for hen parties.

Benidorm Nightlife

  • New Town: The New Town is home to the Strip and English Square, the party hub or Benidorm, which is jam-packed full of party and entertainment venues including nightclubs, karaoke bars, pubs and cabaret bars. Every music taste is catered for whether you’re into the Top 40 chart toppers, the golden oldies, northern soul, rock and just about anything else you can think of!
  • Old Town: In contrast, the Old Town of Benidorm has a more traditional, Spanish vibe with its cobbled streets filled with outdoor cafes, bars and shops. The area is best known for Tapas Alley, just as it sounds, it’s a street brimming with authentic tapas bars. This is a fab place to kick off your evening in the Old Town with the bride squad. Within the narrow, winding streets of the Old Town, you will find relaxed cocktail bars and cosy pubs. It is also the heart of the LGBTQ+ scene with a cluster of vibrant gay bars.
